The deviation replaces Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 7 and Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS) Part 207, Acquisition Planning. Contracting officers must use the revised versions published under the Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) in lieu of the codified text at 48 CFR chapters 1 and 2. The deviation implements E.O. 14275 and E.O. 14265, which require removing unnecessary FAR and DFARS provisions.

1. Effective 2026-02-01, use the revised FAR Part 7 from the RFO web page. It replaces the codified text at 48 CFR chapter 1.
2. Effective 2026-02-01, use the attached DFARS Part 207 from Attachment A1. It replaces the codified text at 48 CFR chapter 2.
3. Effective 2026-02-01, use the attached DFARS Procedures, Guidance, and Information (PGI) 207 from Attachment A2. It replaces the PGI text on the Defense Pricing, Contracting, and Acquisition Policy web page.
